Denali Kennels - Dogs in Training
This page shows our pups
currently in training for any number of jobs. Some
are placed prior to going into training, some are our
next generation of hopefuls and some may be
available.
Honour vom Denali
DOB: 30 May 2009
Dam: Andy Braky
Sire: Tank z Eurosportu
With this pedigree, this girl was born to work
and excel at whatever job we decide to train her in, yet still
be a very pleasant house-pet. She should also do very well
in European style conformation showing. Below at 4 months. Honour is crate trained, working on house training, doing well
in baby obedience, rides well in the car, gets along with all of
our other dogs, does like to play with the cats (nicely) and is NOT to be
trusted with birds. She has high prey drive and is both
food and praise motivated. She loves the water, is
excellent for bath time/grooming and with her pedigree will
make a wonderful addition to our breeding program.

Honour in her favorite sleeping position under our feet.
Iggy
DOB: September 2007
Knot-head extraordinaire
with true terrier spirit, Iggy joined us in July 08 to
begin training as a therapy and possible service dog.
While we love the bull terriers, too often they are
gotten for the wrong reasons. We wanted to help
change the way this breed is viewed by the "general
public". Iggy is a lucky one, when he arrived he
was in good health, good weight, well socialized and
just a happy dog looking for a job and a playmate.
Most pit bulls don't see their second birthday - we'd
like to help that change.

We're taking advantage of his puppy
mouthiness and willing nature to teach him to bring items to us
by name. Iggy is game for anything and is always ready to
play the clown. He gets workouts with weight pulling and
runs through the rolling hills of the pasture with the kids.
He could probably take on tracking for SAR since he thinks all
strangers are just friends he hasn't met yet and he will work
ALL DAY for food.
